Hull Ethnic Minorities Community Centre Foundation Ltd

Hull Ethnic Minorities Community Centre plays an important role in improving the quality of people's lives in disadvantaged areas of Hull and enables students to integrate better into British Society. We have been delivering ESOL and Driving Theory Test tuition successfully since September 2006. Since HEMCCFL started delivering these courses over 200 learners have been assisted. Some of them passed their Driving Theory Test, some have got citizenship, some have found employment, some have learned to read and write, some have been referred to other organisations for further training and some are continuing to study ESOL. We are fully accredited by City and Guilds and are registered with the DfES.

We work with many other organisations to help deliver training, information, advice, interview skills, application form filling, CV and job search support to our students. These organisations include: Next Step Training - Hull College - Job Centre Plus - BME Partnership Training Project - Goodwin - YPSS - Refugee Council - CDP - Adult Education - Anlaby Road Wardens - 167 Centre - Futurepaths

We are a member of the following organisations - Hull Community Voluntary Sector, The Fundraising Standards Board, Humber All Nations Alliance, International Heart Of Hull,  Hull Federation of Community Organisations, Hull Community Network, Developing Our Communities.
